Last month, we told you about the documentary being filmed about the World Famous Comic Strip Live. The crew has been hard at work, interviewing comics from all eras of the storied CSL history.

Comic Strip Live
I was the director of the Comic Strip Improv Group Group from 1983 – ’85. We did three weekly half hour sets, and a full-length show developed through improv once a year. I have hours of video from that era.
We had frequent guest appearances from Robin Williams, Eddie Murphy, Carol Leifer and Rick Overton. Regular cast members included Susie Essman, Dom Irrera , Dennis Wolfberg, Joe Bolster, Cathy Ladman, Steve Hytner, Bill Masters, Janette Barber, Gabe Abelson, Steve Shaffer, Hiram Kasten, Joe Vega, Barry Weintraub, Wayne Federman, Jeannie McBride, Pete Fogel and Ron Zimmerman.
