Sure enough, the Comic Strip Live!’s monthly performance schedule is now live and online. It’s got some doozie’s on it! You ought do yourself a favor and take a peak!

Big Weekend at the Comic Strip!

We’ve got a big weekend at the Comic Strip! In between the time of this writing and when you return to work on Monday, the Strip will have presented SEVEN stand up comedy shows!

Here is a run down of what is in store for this weekends comedy fans:

Friday night: Ray Ellin, host of the popular online talk show Late Net, will be hosting our 8:30 and 10:30 shows. On the shows will be comedians Dan Naturman (Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien, Late Show with David Letterman), Marina Franklin (Last Comic Standing, The Jay Leno Show), Macio (Confessions of an Addictive Mind, Half Baked), Paul Mecurio (Comedy Central Presents: Paul Mecurio, Emmy Award Winner for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart), Sherrod Small (Best Week Ever, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!), and Kevin Brennan (HBO’s One Night Stand, Late Show with David Letterman).We also have a late show on Friday, starting at 12:30 which will feature Erik Rivera, Tom-E (Fox News), Nore Davis (MTV’s Made)and Marc Theobald (Chappelle’s Show, BET’s ComicView).

Saturday brings Ray Ellin back to host Cory Kahaney (Last Comic Standing, Tough Crowd, Comedy Central Presents), Sherrod Small (Best Week Ever, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!), Kevin Brennan (HBO’s One Night Stand, Late Show with David Letterman), Marina Franklin (Last Comic Standing, The Jay Leno Show), Macio (Confessions of an Addictive Mind, Half Baked) and more. Again, we will be having a late show hosted by Erik Rivera and featuring Tom-E, Marc Theobold, Dustin Chaffin and more.

We end our weekend on Sunday with a fantastic line up of stand up talent including: Bill McCarty, Andy Pitz, Jermaine Fowler, Joe Bolster, Lee Camp, Kevin Brennan, Jon Fish, Ross Bennett and more.

All in all, this weekend is a GREAT weekend to come check out stand up comedy at New York’s home for great laughs, The World Famous Comic Strip Live!

Working on a new “Late Show with David Letterman” set, Mike Birbiglia came by last Monday and “Chappelle’s Show” star Charlie Murphy stopped in 4 times within the last week and a half to work out material.
