Rest In Peace Mike DeStefano

This morning we are terribly saddened to report the tragic passing of our friend Mike DeStefano.

Mike has been a long time member of the Comic Strip family and is an irreplaceable talent. One of the most kind-hearted and humble men that I have ever had the pleasure to come across in this business, Mike always had generous words of advice for young comics and continually went about challenging himself as a professional and as a person.

As vibrant of a personality that exists in comedy, Mike had just finished a breakout year which included a Comedy Central Presents half hour special, a final five appearance on NBC’s Last Comic Standing and the debut of a new one man show: Drugs, Disease and Death: A Comedy at New York City’s the Producer’s Club Theater.

He will be missed.
