We’ve talked about it before, but it bears repeating. A few months back, long-time friend of the Comic Strip Live! D.L. Hughley swung by the Strip to do a set and tape some material for Comedy Central. While he was in the green room, our friend Jeffrey Gurian sat down with D.L.
Be sure to pick up D.L. new book “I WANT YOU…To Shut The F*ck Up.”

In the comedy business, the term “drop-in” denotes an unexpected, unannounced surprise performance by an, often heralded, comedian. Being such a well-respected, long-running club, the Comic Strip Live! is blessed to get many of those. In the last two weeks we have had drop-ins by Dane Cook, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle and last night: BILL BURR!
Thought of as one of the best stand up comedians working in the world today, Bill Burr just released his newest stand up special “You People Are All The Same” for $5 on his website. Check it out!
Great seeing you last night Bill! Come back soon!
