Tonight, one of the funniest, hardest-working, most talented comedians in the business today, Ross Bennett makes his network television debut on CBS’ “The Late Show with David Letterman.”

Ross is a long-time friend of the Comic Strip and we have been honored to serve home to many of his warm-up runthroughs as he perfected this Letterman set. We will all be watching! Congrats Ross!

One of the stars of the award-winning CBS sitcom “Mike & Molly” the hilarious Billy Gardell dropped by the Comic Strip Live! on Tuesday night to do a set!

We’ve got a star on our hands! This Tuesday at 11pm on MTV will be the premiere of MTV’s first-ever late night talk show “Nikki & Sara Live” starring Sara Schaefer and the Comic Strip’s own Nikki Glaser!

Wale years ago made noise by releasing a mix tape which featured samples from Jerry’s seminal hit sitcom, the eponymously named “Seinfeld.” He is clearly a fan of NBC’s mid-90′s Thursday night programming (fingers crossed for a “Frasier” EP).

One of the hosts of ABC’s “The View,” longtime friend of the club Sherri Shepherd swung by the club to work out some material tonight! After getting up early this morning in order to be awake, alert and on the air by 10am, Sherri was burning the candle at both ends when she came by the Comic Strip Live! to do a  solid 20 minutes of stand up comedy.

Whether its on The View, 30 Rock or our stage, its always a pleasure to see the hilarious and engaging Sherri Shepherd. Thanks for coming by Sherri!

As many of you know, longtime friend of the Comic Strip Live! Larry Miller suffered a life-threatening head injury back in April. For the past 9 months, Larry has gone through a harrowing process that now we are happy to report it appears he is pulling out of. News reports came out today that the 58-year old comedian and actor is expected to make a full recovery.

“He was hovering between life and death,” Michael Hansen, the Miller’s spokesman, told People Magazine. “It’s a miracle he woke up. … He’s lucky to be alive.”

Miller entered a coma and was placed on life support at UCLA Medical Center for one month following the accident which caused the injury.

Miller, who while in the hospital has had to work on brain connectivity issues, is expected to make a full recovery and plans to resume his podcast series “This Week With Larry Miller” on Jan. 9.

“I’m very thankful to have recovered from a traumatic brain injury so quickly,” Miller told People.
