As Steve Martin once said in The Jerk, “THE NEW CALENDERS ARE HERE! THE NEW CALENDERS ARE HERE!”. Well, he said something like that. Something to do with phone-books and a thermos and Opti-Grabs and Carl Reiner or some such nonsense.
But I am sure if he was reading this blog, the great Navin Johnson too would rejoice over the release of the November performer schedule for the Comic Strip Live!
Check out the schedule to see which night your favorite performers are going to be appearing at your favorite comedy venue.
See you all throughout November!
Comic Strip Live! favorite James Smith is featured prominently in John Mayer’s new music video “Who Says”. Throughout the 3-minute clip John and James spend a night walking through New York, popping into comedy clubs and taking cab rides throughout the city that lacks the ability to sleep.
To see the star of the video live and in person, check out our calender!
The boys are back In the Tank this week; and Jon, Dan, and Shaki are talking comedy with one of my favs, Lee Camp.
THIS is episode 133, and you can listen to it at the homepage, the Facebook page, or on iTunes.
If you still haven’t subscribed to the Podcast, you can do so by clicking the link below:
Lee was the star of Comedy Central’s Fresh Debate ’08 and will be featured on the new Showtime show “Paul Provenza’s Green Room”. This week we learn which celebrity started a standing ovation for Lee. What is the distinction between a political comic and a cultural commentator and why that dude is using a pad. Enjoy!
As always, the best way to find out when any of the In the Tank guests will be performing at The World Famous Comic Strip Live, take a look at our schedule. November starts SUNDAY, and the schedule for the month will be posted soon.
This last Friday, Comic Strip Live! favorite Dustin Ybarra made his national television debut on the season premiere of Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham.”
Ybarra, who has called the Comic Strip home ever since moving up to the big city from his native Texas, displayed great poise and confident as he delivered his 6-minute set to the same enthusiastic response he gets 7 nights a week at the Strip!
We are all very proud of our friend for having such a great set and we look forward to seeing more big things from him soon!
To see Dustin LIVE: check out our schedule!
We here at Eighty Second & 2nd are doing our best to give you all of the current and most exciting news regarding the upcoming one-man show of “They Call Me Mister Fry”, but despite our greatest efforts, news is being created faster than we can post it!
