Tonight at the Comic Strip Live!, our stage will be graced by the presence of national headliner Jeff Caldwell!
Revered by fellow comedians and comedy fans alike, Caldwell is known for his smooth delivery, impeccable timing and clean material. A veteran of two “Late Show with David Letterman” appearances, three spots on “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson”, Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham” and more, Caldwell has proven that a sharp ear for wit and a patient delivery can get you a long way in this buisness.
Caldwell will be on out 8:30 show this evening. Doors open at 8:00pm and seating is available on a first come, first serve basis.
To find out who will be joining Jeff, or to see when Jeff will be coming to the Strip again, be sure to keep an eye on our schedule.

Jeffrey Gurian is all about relationships.
Sure he’s a ‘man about town’ (at the Comic Strip Xmas party, comic Scott Blakeman quipped that “Jeffrey is everywhere. As a matter of fact he’s here and at a party somewhere else at the same time.”), an author (with one book under his belt, another on the way, and a 10-year+ column that is now seen monthly in Punchline Magazine), and a producer (of comedy shows, short film series, and now a documentary). And there’s a rumour that he’s a dentist with a professorship at NYU. (He claims that longstanding rumor has been around forever… and started the day he graduated from Dental School.) He also developed a successful treatment for stuttering, which he used to cure himself.
But, as he humbly stressed in an interview a couple of weeks ago, Jeffrey Gurian is a man all about relationships. He attributes his diverse success to his ability to communicate well and maintain contacts across his many walks of life. Of course, a handful of great and hilarious stories along the way are inevitable:
Do you like love? Comedy? Sunday evenings? Well, then you are in luck!

See you tonight!
Winter Blast 0-10 has arrived!
It’s a two-parter with guest Christian Finnegan. I waited to post them together because the new season of LOST has reminded how much I hate cliffhangers.
Christian is a staple on Comedy Central, VH1, and at the World Famous Comic Strip Live. You should check out his recent DVD, Au Contraire, and our schedule to find out the next time he’ll be on stage at the Comic Strip.

Sorry for the delay in posting the Question of the Night. Like Saints fans everywhere, I’ve been in Parade Mode since the end of the game.
Suffice it to say, we asked about the Super Bowl last night for our Question of the Night. Although a great game, we got the same answer from almost everyone: I want the Saints to win, but I think it’ll be the Colts. (True, two comics didn’t care at all, but there were also three comics who stopped by to watch the game in the lobby, so the numbers even out in the end.)
Congratulations, New Orleans.
We’ll be back next week with an all-new, probably comedy-related Question of the Night.
