On September 14th, Jay Leno is going to revolutionize the late night television scene when he begins hosting his new 10 p.m. talk show on NBC. But he won’t be doing it alone.
Yesterday, Leno announced his supporting cast of correspondents, which included Comic Strip Live! favorite, Marina Franklin.
A stage veteran, Marina is an oft-requested crowd favorite and a current nightly regular at the Comic Strip. Marina will be able to add an irreplaceable sense of grace and wit to the new prime time program and will undoubtedly become one of the most popular new elements of young show.
Previously seen on Comedy Central’s Chappelle’s Show as well as NBC’s Last Comic Standing and her own Comedy Central Premium Blend special, Franklin is one of the top stand-up comedians in New York City.

You’ve know him as the star of Comedy Central’s “Insomniac with Dave Attell”, Comedy Central’s “The Gong Show”, appearances on “The Late Show with David Letterman”, “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “Late Night with Conan O’Brien”, “The Howard Stern Show,” “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart”, Comedy Central’s “Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn” and his own one-hour HBO special “Captain Miserable” and tonight, he will be gracing our very stage.
Dave Attell is one of the most respected and influential stand-up comedians working today. His honest style and ability to personally connect to any crowd makes him a a talent that is in-demand from coast-to-coast.
Attell will be part of tonight’s monthly “Comedy Caliente” show. Seating begins at 8:00pm, showtime at 8:30.
