Check out Comic Strip Live! favorite Lenny Marcus KILLING last night on “The Late Show with David Letterman.”

And while you are there, follow us too at: @ComicStripLive
Long-time favorite at the World Famous Comic Strip Live! Lenny Marcus will be making his debut on CBS’ “Late Show with David Letterman” tonight at 11:30pm on CBS.
One of the hardest working, most authentic comics in the game today, Marcus will be making his debut on the heralded late night program.
Tune in to watch Lenny shine tonight on CBS!
Congratulations Lenny! You’ve earned it!
In honor of my absolute favorite season of the year, SWEEPS, tonight’s question is all about closure and cliff hangers.
Q: What finale are you most looking forward to this Spring?
SNL (even though he didn’t know it was last night…)
Real Housewives of New York (but it would be Dexter or something else less embarrassing during non-network Sweeps. Promise.)
LOST (but he hopes it doesn’t jump the shark in the finale like Battlestar Galactica. And then he said, “I’m a nerd.”)
Not a TV watcher, (against my best advice)
Best of luck to you and your stories as the networks wrap up for summer vacation. In the meantime, come into the Club for some top-notch entertainment.
Q: If you could only subscribe to one magazine for the rest of your life, what would it be?
This is what our comics said tonight.
Happy April 4th, comedy super-fans!
To celebrate our favorite first Sunday in April (a high honor indeed), we are inviting you to come to the Comic Strip Live! for a fantastic night of pure stand up comedy.
We have a great show tonight featuring Lenny Marcus (Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham), Lee Camp (Comedy Central’s Fresh Debate 2008), Brian Scott McFadden (Late Show with David Letterman, Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson), Ross Bennett (Comedy Central’s Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, Evening at the Improv) and many more!
Come on in!
A long-time club favorite, Lenny is one of the hardest working men in the New York comedy scene. A master of word economy, Lenny is known for making audiences erupt with his observations of what it means to be a skinny, spectacle-adorned man in today’s dating scene.
Be sure to come up to the Comic Strip tonight to see one of the funniest guys around, Lenny Marcus.
To find out when you can plan an evening to see Lenny, be sure to keep a watchful eye on our calender.
It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to become a comic, and it requires a lot of stamina to perform every night. But at least it’s a job that each of our performers loves. What’s really difficult is to go to the jobs that aren’t fun (and where you don’t get applause at the end). So in honor of those gigs, tonight we’re asking:
Q: What’s the worst job you’ve ever had?
Telemarketing– it lasted about 2 days.
Burger King, but it wasn’t that bad.
Stand-up Comedy– no joke!
A busboy in Los Angeles (at a Rain Man age time in life that is way past the appropriate age for busboys).
It’s a tie between the airplane parts factory and the marketing for a basement waterproofing company.
It would be the Car Wash except for the year he spent teaching kids with emotional problems in a wealthy Philadelphia suburb.
Tech department for EDS on Wall St: the longest year of his life.
Pouring beers at a ski lodge before he’d ever had one and subsequently getting a lot of complaints because of the excessive foam.
Thanks for stopping by Eighty-Second & 2nd. Come back next week when we ask another Question of the Night. Or better yet, come in to the Club and see these acts live on stage.
