This week’s Question of the Night takes a look into the impact a crowd can have on a comic. It’s a great night here at The World Famous Comic Strip Live, and our stellar line-up let us in on a few of the reasons they like a particular spot over another.
Q: What is your favorite (or least favorite) night to perform?
Jim Mendrinos, Host
Everybody is going to say Friday or Saturday, but I like the early part of the week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) to work out some new material.
I love St. Patrick’s Day because there’s no actual pressure to be funny when the crowd is so drunk.
Friday night, because everyone is excited for the start of the weekend
It used to be Mondays when there was no cover. But now he just takes each new audience as he meets them.
Either Friday or Saturday night, always
#1: Saturday, #2 Friday, #3 Sunday, #4 Thursday
I know everyone says Friday or Saturday, but I like a solid Sunday night crowd.
Either the 1st or 2nd show on a Saturday night. Anyone who says anything else is kidding themselves, but not in the funny way.
Saturday and Thursday
Come back next Sunday night for another installment of Question of the Night. If there’s a question you would like to have answered, leave it in the comment section below. And click on each picture above to check out the comics on their own cyber-turf.
Jermaine Fowler opens the show.
The full house was very appreciative of Jermaine’s amusing take on the comedic incidents that helped shaped his life.
Amazingly talented comedian/author Bill Santiago.
Bill’s unique approach and style is nearly impossible to not find joy while watching.
Macio returned to Comedy Caliente, much to the capacity crowds delight.
A comedian and a crooner: Macio.
Sherrod Small helped wind the evening down.
A long-time Comic Strip Live favorite, Sherrod Small has a little something in his act for everyone.
